Honeypot’s Christmas Appeal raised an astounding £315,000, far exceeding the original target of £200,000. is remarkable result re ects the generosity and commitment of Honeypot supporters, ensuring they can continue to provide vital respite breaks and outreach support for children who care for loved ones. In addition to the appeal, the annual Christmas Carol Concert at Romsey Abbey in December raised almost £10,000, bringing festive cheer while supporting a cause close to many hearts. “I am always humbled by the generosity of local support for Honeypot’s work, and as many people will know, I’m rarely at a loss for words. However, the success of the events and activities at the end of 2025 has left me speechless! What a fantastic gift everyone has given to provide respite and support to young carers aged 5-12 who can find Christmas looking after someone they love, particularly challenging. Professional eatre practitioners guide participants through a series of ensemble theatre practices to explore storytelling, movement, character and improvisation in a safe and supportive environment that is full of laughter! A great way to meet people and make friends too. Sessions take place on Mondays, 1.30pm–3pm at St Andrew’s Church in Dibden Purlieu at a cost of £5 per session. Members of Waterside eatre have the option of taking part in annual productions alongside the chance to perform in street theatre and sitespeci c work but not essential.
