Any new, unwanted gi s can be donated to the charity at its support centres in Hythe or Chandler’s Ford and Co-op, 105-111 Winchester Road, Chandler’s Ford. “Raffle prizes are always high in demand and we need a good selection for various events we are planning this year to celebrate our 45th anniversary,” said Shona Lawson, Regional Fundraising Manager at Wessex Cancer Support. “Ideally, we are looking for small items like boxes of chocolate, bottles of wine, small homeware items and toiletries, all of which we can easily transport. If you have anything that may not fall into these categories but feel it could still be of use to us, we would be very happy to consider it.” Gi s can be donated until 30th January at any centre. “Across the year, raffles make a huge difference to our fundraising efforts. We are so grateful for any donations that help us to continue supporting local people with cancer who need us,” Shona added.
