WELCOME BACK TO NEW FOREST PHYSIOTHERAPY e Waterside Network Group is glad to welcome back New Forest Physiotherapy Clinic, one of its earliest members. Now based in Marchwood, it is run by Adam Smith-Connor, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy and registered with the Health & Care Professions Council. He treats all types of musculoskeletal pain including back pain, whiplash, frozen shoulder, tennis elbow, knee pain, sprained ankle and rehabilitation following orthopaedic surgery including total knee replacement, total hip replacement and back surgery. Training at Birmingham University, he quali ed in 1994. His rst job was in She eld at the Northern General Hospital, where he developed an interest in sports injuries and orthopaedic surgery rehabilitation. Adam has worked at the World Masters swimming competition, for the Armed Forces, NHS and Private Health sector. Prior to setting up New Forest Physiotherapy Southampton Adam worked at BUPA Southampton Hospital where he built a close working relationship with local Orthopaedic and Neuro Surgeons. He has a Post Graduate Diploma in Rehabilitation Science from the University of Southampton, which included modules on Cognitive Behavioural erapy, Extended Scope Practice in Spinal Pain, and Principles of Rehabilitation.
