Lesley Brooks from Minstead Trust said: “We are so very grateful to the New Forest Mummers and all the pubs and their patrons for their generosity. We rely on voluntary donations to support people to thrive, and it is really wonderful that over the Christmas period the local community can come together like this and raise a brilliant amount of money to help our work.” Keith Petty has been part of the group for over 40 years. “On behalf of all of us I would like to say thank you to everyone who helped us raise this fantastic amount. Mumming is a true Christmas tradition and it’s great that we can keep it alive here in the New Forest, performing in over 35 venues across the Forest over the Christmas week.” If you are interested in getting involved this December then please contact Keith on: 07986 353362 or via Facebook: www.facebook.com/NewForestMummers New Forest Mummers presenting the cheque to Lesley Brooks from Minstead Trust Waterside Repair Café If you have an item sitting at home, not working, take it along to the Waterside Repair Café on the last Saturday of each month. eir volunteers will do their best to repair it, and if they can’t they might know someone who can.
