The Romsey War Horse PAPERCUTTING Eling Tide Mill Experience o er regular events through their Talks Programme with a guest speaker every two months and family activities in school holidays. Now they’re responding to some of the feedback they’ve had and they’re introducing adult workshops for the autumn. Eling Tide Mill Experience are working with Southampton artist Caroline Misselbrook of Daff Workshops who offered two taster events. The second one is taking place on Friday 15th November , from 10am until 12.30pm, and is ideal if you’ve ever wanted to get creative with papercutting but weren’t sure how to start. Workshops are ideal for beginners and cost £15 per person, with all materials included. Discoveries at a coastal fortress of Ramesses II, not far from the modern Libyan border have shown the commander was Nebre whose statue inscription reveals the sort of man he was and how he wished to be remembered. He tried to prove his worth as a high o cial, operating on the margins of Egyptian society in a foreign territory, in a military installation whose purpose and functions this talk will explore. e Society meets from 1.30pm for a 2pm start, at the Oasis Academy, Lordshill, in a comfortable, modern and welcoming environment, with disabled access and ample on-site parking.
