On a cold, wet, March day, the Lions collected almost £400 through the generosity of the Morrison’s shoppers, and a cheque from the Romsey & Waterside Lions for £400 has been donated to the charity. Various Lions Clubs throughout the country lend their volunteers to assist the Marie Curie Charity during their week long Da odil Appeal in March. Romsey & Waterside Lions Clubs help many charities in their local area throughout the year, by raising funds through their monthly bookstall in Romsey, stalls at local Fairs and collections. eir Easter Egg ra es raise funding to send several hundred, disabled and disadvantaged local children with their carers, for a fun day out at Paultons Park in June each year.
