Tracy Hickson, the consultant for the group who has lost 5 stone herself, said: “I am so excited to have found a venue that is not only superbly located to serve the Waterside but also the rent that we pay directly supports the fundraising work of the local Sea Scouts”. Since launching her rst group in Beaulieu, in August 2019 her members have seen fabulous weight loss results with 9 achieving and maintaining their target weight and the groups top 5 Greatest Losers having lost over 24 stones between them. Tracy continued: “In a short time we have built a friendly community of successful slimmer’s, making the group an incredibly warm and welcoming place to be. The decision to move the group from Beaulieu to Hythe was not an easy one but one that we knew was needed to benefit more members”. Chris Godfrey from 4th New Forest (East) Hythe Sea Scouts said: “We are really pleased to be able to support Slimming World and that the hut is getting more use and for the benefit of our local community and our scouts”.
