Each team played 12 games resulting in a nal play o between to the two winners of each league and a er over 140 games being played Sue and Martin Smith came out the victors over Janet Ballard and Geo Cross. Alongside this league, thanks to the hard work of all the Committee and members’ enthusiasm, they managed to run all but one of the club competitions with an even greater number of entries as usual. All the nals were well contested with some good quality bowling being played over the weekend. A really good nale to a di cult, but ultimately very enjoyable season – although they have to postpone the usual Presentation Dinner until next year, they will ensure that all nalists are recognised on their website. Looking back on the 2020 season, incredibly they have managed to play more bowls than in the previous season, albeit within ‘local bowling bubble’. is has been achieved by the huge e ort of the members, the management committee and careful management of their 12 rinks.
