28th January 2021 • The HERALD • Page 35 v THE HERALD - PART OF YOUR COMMUNITY v WE CARE, YOU CARE OPEN 9AM-4PM MONDAY-SATURDAY Southampton’s Leading Care Company Needs YOU! In-home care provider, Nobilis, is calling on people across Southampton and Hampshire to consider a career in care. Recruiting now, Nobilis is one of the UK’s leading in-home care specialists, o ering families quality care, delivered with dignity, compassion and respect. It believes the foundations of its homecare begins with treating employees with the respect, courtesy, and patience they deserve, alongside a strong internal support and communications structure, and industry- leading pay-scales. Nobi l is Managing Director Peter Harrington says: “We believe caring is a passion and a responsibility: our carers do more than take care of you, or your loved one; they share jokes, take time to listen and build friendships rooted in trust. Our quality of care ensures a quality of life, and that is so important to us – a hand that is held with genuine feeling can transform the day. That is why, aside from paying our staff more than most agencies, we also offer excellent, on-going training leading to recognised qualifications. Right now, we are investing a six- figure sum in new training academies that will play a pivotal role in training and supporting our existing staff, and new recruits, as the business scales up.” And Peter Harrington underlines that Nobilis is not only keen to hear from experienced carers, but also people from other careers, such as retail or hospitality, who may have recently lost their jobs due to COVID-19. “We want to support all the communities that we operate in, and that includes offering people good careers with decent pay-scales and career progression. If you think Nobilis might be right for you, do get in touch with us today.” Contact Nobilis on: 023 8000 1083 or go to: www. nobilis.co.uk Age Concern New Forest had donations of the most wonderful Shoe Box Hampers, which were full of thoughtful goodies, from The Totton Isolation Group, Age UK Southampton and Holbury WI. e Hampers were kindly given out or delivered just before Christmas by lovely Volunteers Ros, Pam, Mike, Peter, Julia, Fran, Zoe in the o ce and their Footcare Specialist Lisa to the Totton Lunch Club, Sunday Lunch Club clients and their isolated and vulnerableWaterside G o o d n e i g h b o u r s and footcare clients.
