Slimming World Blackfield are delighted to announce their return to live groups in a fabulous new venue from 17th May (Government guidance permitting). Members who have continued to lose weight with virtual support are excited about going back to the in-person group in Blackfield Baptist Church . Consultant Sue, who is looking forward to helping new members lose their lockdown weight, says: “ Even though Slimming World have helped me to reach my target weight, it’s been harder to stay on track over the last year. Being part of a group has really helped. Lockdown has been tough, leaving countless people feeling unhappy with their weight and self-image. The great news is that we’re here to help. Losing weight with Slimming World is easy to fit into family life and, unlike dieting; you still get to eat your favourite foods AND never feel hungry!” Member Natasha who joined and reached her target during lockdown said: “Everyone is incredibly supportive because they know what you’re going through. Sue and the group are on hand to share tips and ideas to keep you going each week. If you’ve been thinking about joining Slimming World, I would say – don’t hesitate – just go for it! I’ve been very impressed. I’m now set up to keep the weight off for life.” To find out more or to join the Blackfield group in the Baptist Church on Monday evenings at 5.30pm, please call Sue on: 07790 681985 or join the Facebook group: www.facebook.com/ SlimmingWorldatBlackfield Waterside Cancer Support Centre Update by Wendy White, Interim Manager at WCSC As the weeks progress, we are closer to being able to o er a real in-person service.
