A Night to Remember On Saturday 26th June Music at Beaulieu welcomes celebrated saxophonist Julian Smith with his programme of jazz and classical pieces. Four weeks later, on 24th July , they will be holding their popular “Glyndebourne at Beaulieu” evening, and looking even further ahead on 7th August , the concert will be given by Bournemouth-based Swing Unlimited, the South Coast’s premier big band, making their rst visit to Music at Beaulieu. CAR BOOT SALE ere will be a car boot sale at Memorial Car Park, Totton, on Sunday 4th and 18th July from 9am until 12noon. No booking is required. Any size car £5 and the area is hard standing. Set distancing pitches and please bring your own tables. Social distancing, hand sanitising stations, one-way system and controlled entry, will be in place. Bursledon Brickworks New Forest Waterside U3A next meeting will be on Tuesday 6th July with a talk by Richard Newman titled ‘Bursledon Brick Works’. A Zoom talk commencing at 2pm, Richard, the site manager of the Brick Works Museum will give them an interesting talk about the Brickworks history Not heard of U3A? Pop along as a guest and see for yourself. It’s a group that’s open to men and women who are retired or semi-retired, usually over 50’s. ere are many interest groups you might like to get involved with, i.e. history, scrabble, gardening as well as interesting and varied speakers, lunches in local restaurants, trips to interesting places and all for £10 per year membership. If the weather is bad, then the car boot sale will still go ahead, but the tables will be set up indoors (socially distanced).
