Do you struggle with the ‘bigger’ jobs around the house? Perhaps you could use someone to help with those tasks you can’t quite manage or keep putting off? Having worked in horticulture for 27 years (both at Fairweather’s in Beaulieu and Exbury Gardens) Jennifer Shankland has now branched out and has started o ering her services to people of the Waterside & New Forest area. Whether you need a one o tidy up in the garden or a super deep clean in the house, Jen is a lady who ‘gets the job done’. Preferring to use natural products like white vinegar, lemon and Bicarbonate of Soda, Jen prides herself on using minimal chemicals to get things gleaming. “I favour natural cleaning products, together with the techniques of days gone by where I can.” explains Jen. “It’s also important to have the use of the clients own vacuum cleaner, so as not to bring any allergens into the home from other households with pets.” So maybe it’s the freezer that needs defrosting, laundry and beds to change, cupboards sorting out, oven or windows cleaned or perhaps the garden just needs a really good weeding? Whatever cleaning, gardening or home help requirements, Jen will roll up her sleeves and make light work of it so you don’t have to. Call on: 023 8084 9138 or 07769 500372. Phenomenally, Calshot was the 165th lifeboat station that Harry, 23, has visited on his journey that started on 1st May at Poole RNLI Headquarters. His journey is the equivalent of travelling from John O’Groats to Lands’ End ve times and the elevation on the ride is equal to ascending Mt Everest almost eight times! Justyn Leonard, Calshot Deputy Lifeboat Press O cer said: “When the crew heard that Harry would be visiting Calshot, they wanted to make sure he received a proper welcome and a show of our appreciation for his efforts.’ Harry was joined by friends George Hayes and Oli Dawe-Lane as he plans to reach Poole RNLI Headquarters.
