Action Medical Research and Davina McCall are pleased to confirm the return of ‘Dine with Davina’ to the Leonardo Royal Grand Harbour Hotel, Southampton. Sadly, the live event was cancelled in 2020 due to COVID-19, but preparations are now in full swing for this year’s event which will be held on Friday 8th October 2021 . Special Events Fundraiser Ruth Dean says she’s really excited: “Tickets are selling well for this event and we are just so excited that we are going to be able to see old friends and new. We always have a great time and Davina is so good to have shown her support for the charity over the years. Davina McCall will attend her 15th ‘Dine with Davina’ event for Action Medical Research developing the use of ultrasound in pregnancy and testing the rubella vaccine. Action is currently funding research into areas including how COVID-19 a ects children, premature birth, epilepsy, asthma, scarlet fever, cerebral palsy, brain cancer and some rare and distressing conditions. AFC Totton sign Weymouth man Jordan Ngalo AFC Totton have announced the signing of ex-Terras man, Jordan Ngalo. Jordan played a total of 106 games for Weymouth and in that time scored himself 4 goals. e defensive mid elder said in his opening interview: “I don’t have any personal targets, just to give my best when I play on that pitch”. He also said: “It should be a good season for us; we have that ability within the players and the coaching staff to achieve some good stuff this season”.
