Hythe of Activity Day - 7th August Hythe of Activity Day is a fun, informal way of letting the community know about all the wonderful organisations that operate with Hythe & Dibden. Are you one of the many organisation that want to raise your pro le or need more members or volunteers? is is an opportunity for all the clubs, charities, social groups, societies, lunch clubs, community group, support groups etc. to ‘set up stall’ in Hythe Village Centre to promote their activities to the community. Hythe is rich in support and things to do but many people are still not aware of all that’s available, hopefully, this will bring in new members as well as volunteers and even sponsors. Hythe of Activity was started 11 years ago, it was such a success it was taken over by another organisation but in recent years it has faded so this year they are rejuvenating it and putting it back in the High street where it started, along with the presentation of the Community Spirit Awards. e hours will be 10am-4pm in Hythe Village Centre, they will provide a table but you will need to take your own chairs plus information and some form of activity, sale, give-away, demonstration or competition to keep the stalls interesting. More details will be sent nearer the time to the people who have applied. To nd out how to apply please visit: www. hytheanddibden.gov.uk and follow the link on the front page or ring Helen on: 023 8084 1411 (Tues-Fri 9am-2.30pm) or email: helen.bradley@hytheanddibden.gov.uk It is with huge regret that once again the French Market had to be postponed. With restrictions staying in place now until 19th July and France currently on Amber travel it made it unviable for the market to come to the UK and quarantine for 10 days. It is sincerely hoped the French Market on 10th December will go ahead! French Market Postponed Summer in Hythe
