It began as a weekly opportunity for youngsters aged between one and ve to go along and have a bit of fun. Josh Bond, Centre Manager, said: “We set the price at £2 per child for a two-hour session in the main hall with access to a variety of soft play equipment, games, and a bouncy castle.” He added: “This session proved extremely popular for local families, especially as it provided something for parents to do with children locally when the weather Josh Bond and Angharad Vaughan on the new bouncy castle Play’ following the li ing of COVID-19 restrictions. Josh said: “ We are incredibly grateful for this contribution. The bouncy castle is really popular with the youngsters, and it would have been a shame if we had not been able to replace it. It’s a great way to let young children have fun and let off some steam.” Angharad Vaughan, Community A airs Adviser for ExxonMobil Fawley, said: “ The COVID-19 pandemic has been a challenge for everyone and so to see children back enjoying themselves at Gang Warily is wonderful. We were extremely pleased to make this contribution towards a replacement bouncy castle, and we hope the youngsters who attend the Stay and Play sessions have a great time using it in the future.” The Stay and Play sessions at Gang Warily are held every Monday and Friday between 10am and noon. However, when the original bouncy castle reached the end of its life and was no longer t for use, ExxonMobil Fawley agreed to step in and help, ready for the resumption of ‘Stay and WOODSIDE SINGERS The Woodside Singers are restarting rehearsals in September a er a long and tedious hiatus. ey’re raring to go but need a CONDUCTOR to ease them back into the swing of things and to focus on a Christmas programme and beyond. They also welcome new singers, particularly sopranos and basses. ey rehearse on Mondays 7.30pm to 9pm at Hounsdown School, Totton.
