With a tear in his eye he reminisced about his father Christopher Fairweather and how proud he would have been to see where the business was today, still running with his 88 year old mother Aline and wife Ste by his side. e a ernoon was also to thank those members of sta who had retired, one lady in particular, Sue Greaves, who a er 32 years decided to hang up her trowel. Sue’s plant knowledge and infectious laughter will be missed by everyone including the customers. Patrick Fairweather said: “Thank you to everyone who helped us to celebrate, we have seen many changes, we have great loyal customers and staff who have helped us on our journey. The last couple of years have been a particular challenge and we will hopefully continue running our family business for the next 60 years!”.
