Families Matter run the support group which o ers cognitive stimulation therapy for people with early stage dementia. It encourages people to socialise and have fun learning and remembering together. Carers are also welcome to stay and have a cup of tea and chat to other carers. Totton South u3a group are o ering a varied programme at their 3rd Friday afternoon of the month general meetings at ColburyMemorial Hall including speakers on Cunard History, Glamorous Stars; 50 years in Television and Philippa Drew from ITV weather forecasting. From new artists to those with more experience, this course gives you the opportunity to experiment in a friendly, non-critical group. A walk through, weekly experience focusing on using di erent media, understanding di erent materials and techniques used, and learning the language around art. is is a FREE course and all materials will be provided, but please take an old shirt/apron to cover clothes, art goes hand in hand with mess!
