One of the most popular events in the New Forest is back in the calendar for this autumn, with a wealth of events announced and available to book from today. Now in its ninth year, the New Forest Walking Festival is set to be bigger than ever before, with guided cycle rides new for 2021. Sponsored by Hoburne Bashley holiday park in Sway, the Festival takes place across the New Forest over three weeks from 16th October to 7th November 2021 . Experts will be leading the way on dozens of guided events fromwildlife walks to historic meanders, forest bathing to fungi spotting, bird watching to ranger rambles. It’s a chance to learn about the special landscape, habitats and culture of the New Forest, connect to nature and even experience new things – such as navigation skills or Nordic walking. To incorporate the autumn half term, the Festival will feature guided Explore the great outdoors at this year’s festival will follow designated cycle trails in the New Forest, led by qualified guides, and all levels are catered for – including experienced riders and people with different disabilities. However, Wednesday 13th October 2021 sees the return of this prestigious event which promises to be an exceptional evening out.
