During lockdown Sinead returned to working from home, however when a shop became available in Hythe she took the plunge, and in March 2021 Blissful Moments emerged. Situated in the popular Pylewell Precinct in Hythe, Blissful Moments really is a store-for-all. Continuing to stock their original range of bath luxuries & home fragrances they now o er a wide range of bespoke gi s for all occasions including Hythe and New Forest souvenirs. A er something more unique and hand-made? en look no further, as Blissful Moments plays host to local cra ers who can rent shelves in the shop to display their cra y items. ere is also a room available to rent and local medium and Reiki master Katrina regularly holds appointments there. Owner Sinead is thrilled with business so far, saying: “I have been warmly welcomed into the village and its lovely to see a buzz in the precinct with more and more businesses moving in” Halloween is just around the corner and they are stocking a large selection of items, from fancy dress to house decorations and spooky keep-sakes. If you are super organised they even have Christmas items on display for you to start your shopping early. Blissful Moments is open Monday to Saturday, 9am-5pm, so go along and take a look at everything they have to o er, it’s a den of delights and a feast for the eyes! Owner Sinead Mitten outside Blissful Moments in Hythe Back in 2017 and trading online only, Blissful was the go to place for bath bombs and bath products in the local area, with owner Sinead running the business from home. So popular were Sinead’s products that she expanded and 50 Years of Rotary Housing In conjunction with the forthcoming celebrations to mark the 50th Anniversary of the formation of Hythe Rotary Housing Association, current members of Hythe and Waterside Rotary were treated to a presentation at one of their September meetings. Helen Barber (CEO of Muircro Housing Association) and Trevor Guymer (Chairman of the Board of Management of MHA & Honorary Member of Hythe & Waterside Rotary) gave a talk entitled ‘50 years of Muircro ’ which gave the history of the how it all began, how the Housing Association was registered in 1971, how the project developed to its current status and its plans for the future. In the audiencewere three former Chairmen of Muircro ’s Management Board who also shared their memories. The presentation included photographs of the project from purchasing the land to the actual building of Muir House and Priest Cro . Hythe & Waterside Rotary are very proud of their continued association with Muircro and wish them continued success in the future.
