All meetings are held on the second Wednesday of the month at Dibden Golf Club from 10.30am when co ee and biscuits are followed by a speaker and a two-course lunch. e meeting ends at approximately 1.30pm. HYTHE WIVES At last Hythe Wives have re-started their meetings and on 3rd September their members were together again. e event was well attended with 42 members, including one new member, and 3 visitors and everyone enjoyed the social a ernoon. Lesley, their Chairlady, gave an update on how fundraising had continued during lockdown and how the committee had worked hard to keep their society alive and ready to start again when restrictions were li ed. Reassurance was given regarding hygiene measures that are in place and their commitment to provide a safe environment in which to hold their meetings. Members are reminded that there is no meeting on Friday 15th October as the hall had a prior booking. However, looking ahead to their AGM on Friday 5th November members were asked to submit their nominations for a local charity to be the focus of their fund raising for the next twelve months. Meetings are held on the 1st and 3rd Friday of the month 2.15pm to 4.30pm in the Main Hall at St Andrew’s Centre, Dibden Purlieu. Visitors and new members are always welcome.
