They have taken many extra precautions to make them Covid-Safe. They also offer Toenail cutting for £20 or Toe & Fingernails for £25. e registeredPodiatrists and Chiropodists are also able to give foot care advice and information on other treatments available. If you wish to book a foot care appointment, cancel, or amend one, please contact the o ce on: 023 8084 1199. A message can be le on the answer machine if necessary and they will return your call. Waterside Good Neighbours volunteers could help with transport if required. Clinics are as follows: Totton and Eling Community Centre: Every Wednesday and Friday at Civic Centre Buildings, Library Road, Totton, SO40 3AP. Hythe & Dibden Community Centre: 1st and 3rd Fridays, 1st Thursday and 3rd Monday at Brinton Lane, Hythe, SO45 6DU. Blackfield Baptist Church: 2nd and 4th Tuesday at Hampton Lane, Black eld, SO45 1XA. Hythe Huddle – Dates for Your Diary Age Concern New Forest are very thankful to have received grants to help run their three lunch clubs in Bartley, Totton and Dibden. £1,000 was received from NFDC to help with re-start costs and volunteer training. £200 was received from the Asda Totton Green Tokens Scheme (June and July 2021) for the Totton Lunch Clubs. Hythe and Waterside Rotary Club also nominated them as their charity of the month for July, 2021 and £135 was raised in donations. ey are very grateful for all this wonderful support. Family Matters at Hythe URC are pleased to announce they are able to welcome people back to Hythe Huddle, the drop in support group for people living with dementia and their carers. ey meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 2pm to 4pm at Cornerstone URC, Hythe SO45 6BR. Activities are planned throughout the year. • 3rd November – Ukulele group, Jam Tarts • 1st December – Christmas Party • 5th January – Chair Exercise – some gentle activity to get your body tter • 2nd February – Folk Active – folk dancing and live music Do drop in for a chat and a cuppa, a warm welcome awaits you. For more information call: 023 8020 7623 or email: office.fm.hurc@gmail.com THANK YOU Free online groups are taking place to help people in Southampton and around the South living with arthritis to manage their condition. e next group meeting, organised by UK charity Arthritis Action, will take place on Wednesday 3rd November at 2pm, with further meetings planned every six weeks. e online groups are held over Zoom, catering to those who still may not be comfortable socialising in-person with others. e meetings o er a safe and friendly environment for people living with arthritis to speak with each other, learn from one another and share their stories, questions and tips. ere are over 10 million people living with some form of arthritis in eEvergreenClub fortheover60’s are pleased towelcome members back to St John’s Hall, New Road, Hythe.
