Age Concern AGM Gardening Volunteers needed for the Waterside Good Neighbours Service. VOLUNTEERS NEEDED BY AGE CONCERN NEW FOREST Monthly Virtual Vegan Luncheon Club Open to vegans, vegetarians, and meat reducers aged 65 and over , the FREE club o ers attendees the chance to learn new dishes, get tips from an experienced vegan chef, and meet like- minded people from across the UK. The club takes places through Zoom video-conferencing on the fourth Tuesday of every month. Recipes are provided in advance, so you have plenty of time to get the ingredients. Cook that morning and then join Vegetarian for Life Chef Justina, along with attendees from across the UK, at 1pm. Recipes take a di erent theme each month so you’ll get to make and enjoy a wide variety of tasty dishes. The next club on Tuesday 26th October - bake o themed in line with the Great British Bake o . Encouraging viewers to cook their favourite vegan bake. • Tuesday 23rd November - meat free pot luck dinner - individuals will cook their favourite meal and tell the group about it. • Tuesday 14th December - a vegan Christmas meal As always, there is no need to cook all of the recipes. You can choose just one or two, or simply join the lunch club with a cup of tea or what you’re having for your lunch that day For more information visit: www. vegetarianforlife.org.uk BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT Oakhaven Wellbeing Bereavement services are open to all. Whether your loss is recent, months or even years ago, and you don’t need to have lost your loved one at Oakhaven, you can nd support. ere are Bereavement Coffee Mornings which take place on the 1st Wednesday of the month between 10am until 12noon, at the Coates Centre, located in the grounds of Oakhaven Hospice, Lower Pennington Lane, Lymington SO41 8ZZ, and also Bereavement Teas, on the 3rd Wednesday of the month between 1.30pm and 3.30pm. Their bereavement volunteers will welcome you and make you a cuppa. You can meet others who understand what you going through, and nd information and advice to help you cope. Just go along when you feel ready; if you are unsure then take a friend. e next Bereavement Tea takes place on Wednesday 20th October , while the next Bereavement Coffee Morning will be on Wednesday 1st December .
