Joseph was bought a litter grabber from a local charity shop by his granny, and now armed with a black bin bag and instead of playing in the park; he chooses to spend his free time collecting rubbish! Mum, Annie said: “He hated walking through the woods and seeing the litter dropped by the general public and he wanted to make a difference. I hope he inspires people of all ages to get out there and play a part in making their community the best it can be. We are SO proud of Joseph!” From everyone in the Herald Community - Well done and thank you Joseph, you’re a star! Could you follow Joseph’s example and spare some time to tidy? Did Somebody say Cake?! On a sunny day at the end of August members of the Hythe and Waterside Lettings team baked cakes and raised a record £545 for Oakhaven Hospice. Tracy excelled to ‘Master Baker status’. A shout must go out to those that couldn’t be present for the photoshoot too, Darren for his marketing skills, Jenny for admin and Zoe, currently on maternity leave, for her fab cake contribution too, what a great day it was with an excellent result! Well done to all and a big thank you for all the donations and customers too without whom they wouldn’t have raised so much for this very worthy local cause.
