Why not try and catch him before the big day! Father Christmas is looking forward to seeing all the good children of the Waterside on Thursday 16th December between 5pm and 8pm in his specially commissioned Santa’s Grotto at Blissful Gifts in Pylewell Precinct, Hythe. With free parking for the event, make an evening of it with late night shopping in Hythe and for the grown-ups there will be Mulled Cider served at the Dusty Barrel. Jack ‘N’ Grill will also be open for winter warming food to eat in or takeaway. One of the main features that never fails to draw a crowd is the welcome addition of the much loved Waterside Christmas Fire Engine – this will be parked nearby. A visit to the grotto to see the busy elves, Mrs Claus and a treat bag from Father Christmas will cost £3 per child. All proceeds will go to local Waterside charities supported by Waterside Christmas Fire Engine. To ensure as many children as possible, whilst being mindful of limiting crowds, they are asking you to pre-book your slot.
