Many schools are nding it increasingly di cult to fund items like play equipment for the children and groups of older tradesmen within Mens Sheds can help by using there skills to support and create items for both schools and the wider community. A spokesperson said that although they are still searching for a permanent base within the Lyndhurst area it has not stopped them from helping organisations by using skills they have gained over the years to support others. Presentation by Lyndhurst Shed to School of Thorne Chair and Rocking Boat Annual Exhibition is Back e Romsey & District Railway Modellers Society are making a come back in 2022 a er having to cancel this years annual exhibition because of COVID-19. On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th March e Romsey & District Railway Modellers Society are pleased to be able to hold their annual exhibition in the Cros eld Hall Romsey. e aim of the exhibition is to show a cross section of the hobby. e local Mountbatten School will be bringing their layout operated by the pupils. ere will be 11+ layouts with two trade stands to cater for all tastes. e scales/ gauges will be N, H09, 009, H0, 00 and 0 - with something for all modellers. Refreshments will be available all weekend and there is free parking on Sunday. Disabled access available. Admission: Adult £5, Child £3, Family Ticket 2 + 2 £12.
