Taking place this year on Friday 19th November, Children in Need raises money to help support local charities and projects which are providing essential Staff at Moors Manor getting into the Pudsey spirit for Children in Need frontline help to children and young people in communities throughout the UK. Residents, visitors and sta at Moors Manor Care Home were all very supportive and enjoyed seeing the sta dressed up and taking part in the fun activities throughout the day. Caroline, Deputy Manager at Moors Manor Care Home, said: “Taking part in Children in Need has been a huge amount of fun and everyone at the home has been behind us all the way. It’s for such an important cause. I’m very glad to be able to do my bit to raise both awareness and money for Children in Need and all the initiatives it supports . Our varied life enrichment programme keeps residents active, and provides a daily choice of engaging physical, mental and spiritual activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities. We’re making our homes as safe as possible and will ensure that all new residents and staff are vaccinated before moving in or working in our homes.” Moors Manor Care Home is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the UK’s largest care providers, which is committed to delivering high-quality care across its care homes and hospitals.
