From commoners’ cottages to modern eco- homes, historic barns to public buildings, the area’s mosaic of buildings and their setting in the landscape contribute to the special character of the New Forest National Park. Previous winners have included the Peppa Pig building at Paulton’s Park; a new gallery space created next to the listed Clock House on the Beaulieu Estate; and residential schemes with proportions and materials sympathetic to their setting within the New Forest landscape.
