We enjoyed a variety of games broken up with three festive ideas: Mo’s Christmas swag and Marion’s two table decorations; followed by a ra e of surprise gi s, gi s to choose and all the plants decorating the tables- such fun was had by all! A er the last 18+ months it was so good to share some ower ideas, fun and joy! Mo used a length of rope, folded it in half, wired along the length of the rope, leaving the middle loop. She wired bundles of foliage and decorations to the rope. e bundles were of selected foliage, trios of r cones, dried gypsophila, bows, baubles and berries. Trailing ivy was bound to either end plus or minus a bow, if this was the top end. Very festive for a mantelpiece, above a mirror, down the wall etc. A er more games Marion demonstrated two table decorations. e rst used a thin oasis tray with pussy willow branches outside, held in the middle with elastic bands and twine. e arrangement included seasonal foliage, dried materials, hypericum berries, skimmia owers, baubles. e second arrangement was on a tray with an oasis bowl in the centre and two cut silicone tubes made into cracker ends either side- incorporating the colours of the covering wrapping paper into the central arrangement with bubbles and berries. Adding di erent textures and glitter sticks make the arrangement really festive. e nale was a visit from Father Christmas and everyone le with a big grin and a smile on their face!
