Graham’s theme on ursday evening was Christmas Magic and they de nitely witnessed some ‘magic’ in both his oral and cra creations as well as being entertained by his stories and anecdotes. Many of the oral displays were mounted on stands which Graham had created himself from ‘stu ’ ranging from dri wood, wire, hessian sacking, a variety of paints and much more. He amused them with his story of nding a large piece of dri wood on a beach one day and his e orts to smuggle it into a hotel without being too conspicuous. He joked that he has a shed which contains the national collection of dri wood. His oral arrangements were bright, witty and a change from the traditional Christmas arrangements and club members were enthralled by his magic touch with owers. Several lucky members returned home with an arrangement at the end of the evening, having won them in the ra e. e group were certain that everyone returned home inspired to create some ‘magic’ arrangements of their own.
