As well as promoting Hythe & Waterside Rotary’s activities and selling items for the Purple Community Fund, Tony, a professional musician and member of the club, was on hand with his clarinet and saxophone we have been up to and to promote our current projects. For example, we collect donations of unwanted laptops and tablets that we can refurbish and pass on to local schools who are always in need of extra IT equipment for their students. It was great to have Tony with us to add a touch of Christmas spirit!”. On Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th March e Romsey & District Railway Modellers Society are pleased to be able to hold their annual exhibition in the Cros eld Hall Romsey. e exhibition will be open 10.30am until 5pm on Saturday and 10am until 4.30pm on Sunday. e aim of the exhibition is to show a cross section of the hobby. is year the local Mountbatten School will be bringing their layout operated by the pupils. ere will be 11+ layouts with two trade stands to cater for all tastes. e scales/ gauges will be N, H09, 009, H0, 00 and 0 - with something for all modellers.
