Wellbeing For You To help your wellbeing and particularly if you are living with a life limiting illness, caring for someone, or coping with bereavement, then Oakhaven Wellbeing’s Complementary erapy team regularly run wellbeing workshops at the Coates Centre, Lower Pennington Lane, Lymington SO41 8ZZ. Anyone living across the New Forest, Waterside and Totton areas is welcome, you do not have to be known to Oakhaven as a patient. All the workshops are free. The Relaxation Workshop is designed to help participants learn a variety of strategies to help them relax and includes a guided relaxation session to learn for home. Workshops take place on: Wednesday 23rd February 10am until 12noon; Wednesday 30th March 10am until 12noon and Friday 29th April 2pm until 4pm. Finding it hard to sleep? The Managing Poor Sleep workshop explores the importance of sleep and why our sleep patterns can become disrupted and looks at a variety of strategies aimed at improving poor sleep. e session ends with a guided relaxation session. Friday 8th April 2pm until 4pm and Wednesday 20th April 2pm until 4pm. In an Introduction to Aromatherapy explore the bene ts of Aromatherapy and essential oils which have been used for thousands of years. Spend some time smelling di erent essential oils and learn about their potential health bene ts and have the opportunity to make an Aromatherapy product to use at home. A 2 hour Massage workshop to learn the bene ts of massage and learn to safely give yourself or other s a simple hand massage, to help you or others feel rejuvenated. Walks are open to everyone and are a good opportunity to meet new friends, take a friend along or even take your dog with you to enjoy the walk. Their next three walks take place on: Wednesday 9th February (meet at Beaulieu car park, co ee at Bucklers Hard then on: Wednesday 9th March (meet at Keyhaven car park – pay and display) and on Wednesday 13th April (meet at Oakley car park). Meet Stroke Association sta and volunteers and nd friendly peer support, information and advice over a cuppa. No appointment is necessary. e next café takes place on Wednesday 9th February . e Coates Centre, located in the grounds of Oakhaven Hospice, Lower Pennington Lane, Lymington SO41 8ZZ, is part of the services and support o ered by Oakhaven Wellbeing. Anyone living across the Waterside, Totton and surrounding areas and the New Forest can access these services; you do not need a referral or be known to Oakhaven Hospice.
