As their members didn’t get a Christmas Lunch in 2020 and for many of them faced Christmas alone, they wanted to make 2021 extra special for them. is was made possible by the generous donation of £300 from Waitrose and Jane Bidwell who provided gorgeous centrepieces for the tables. Everyone had a wonderful day, there was lots of smiling faces. ey enjoyed Bucks Fizz on arrival, a full Turkey dinner, Christmas pudding and a cheese board. e day could not have gone ahead without the hard work of the cook Emma and her wonderful team of volunteers who went above and beyond to make everything so special.
