Sooty, Sweep and their good friend Michael Ockwell, CEO of the May ower eatre, pulled the winning ticket in the region’s leading heart charities annual Grand Prize Draw. e winner won the tax-free sum a er entering the draw alongside three runners up who each received prizes ranging from £50 to £250. e socially distanced reveal was held at the iconic May ower eatre, where Sooty and co were starring in the Pantomime, Cinderella, alongside Craig Revel Horwood and Debbie McGee. Despite the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, a whopping £9,134 was raised by generous supporters – the largest amount to date – with all pro ts going straight towards Wessex Heartbeat.
