Although he will tell you to keep checking your mirror To check the make up on your face And when you’ve been going really fast Of course check your wig is still in place. So my gran bought a mobility scooter, Even though she’s eighty-five She’s never had a motorcar So she’s never leant to drive. But she doesn’t let that bother her Because she’s old and grey, Sounding the horn on her scooter People should jump out of the way. The thing she likes best of all Is free wheeling down hill really fast And then when she’s right behind you Give her old horn a really loud, blast. She likes it when the pavements really crowded And to get through is a very tight squeeze, As her wing mirrors rattles your elbows Her basket will shatter your knees. So when she runs you over And there is no number plate on display, Identification will be difficult As her hair is fifty shades of grey.
