Testwood Baptist Church in Salisbury Road, Totton, hold its monthly Bereavement Café, o ering a safe space where people can talk about the pain of loss and also nd strength and courage in knowing that they are not alone. e Café is run on a ‘drop-in’ basis between the times of 1.30pm and 3pm on the second Monday of each month and is not designed to be a counselling session. Visitors to the Café will discover a warm welcome and a supportive environment for re ection and conversation; a place to nd mutual support and encouragement. e kettle is always on with tea, co ee and a variety of cakes (including a gluten-free option) served by a friendly team of volunteers. The next Café session will be on Monday 14th March . For more information please contact the Church on: 023 8086 0320 or visit: www.testwoodbaptist.org TABLE TOP SALE AT CORNERSTONE Every 2 weeks on a Tuesday morning from 9.30am to 12noon there’s a great Table Top Sale at Cornerstone Hythe URC in New Road. ere is always a great selection of Electricals, Jewellery, Collectables, Kitchenware, Glassware, Bags, Toys, Puzzles, Bric- a-brac and an extensive library of Paperback Books, CDs, and DVDs. All proceeds go to the Cornerstone Outreach Fund supporting mission and outreach locally, in the UK and overseas. Upcoming sales are on Tuesday 22nd February and 8th March . Co ee, tea, and biscuits are always available in the Foyer too! St John’s Church in Marchwood is planning to hold a Flower Festival and Art Exhibition over the weekend of Her Majesty The Queen’s Platinum Jubilee from 3rd to 5th June . e theme of the event will be ‘Celebrating the Queen’s reign throughout the decades’. ey are still at the early planning stage, but wanted to let everyone know well in advance to put the dates in their diaries. is will be a community event and they invite all to join them in celebrating the Queen’s Jubilee and also the community of St John’s is pleased to be open for worship every Sunday at 10am for Holy Communion and on the last Sunday of each month for Village Praise, which is an informal service for all the family.
