Originally called e Jack Whitemore Trophy, in memory of a former member, it is now simply called e Whitemore Trophy to include Jack’s wife Liz; both were longstanding and valued members of the club. ‘Woodland Scene 3D’ by Harry Borgerson was the winning entry, as voted for by club members. It consists of a woodland image over which 3D representations of animals have been added, as well as leaves which grow out of the photograph and onto the mount. Members voted ‘Walk in the Woods’ by Stephen Cooper into second place and third place was shared by Lizzie Dutfield , Lynn Lambeth, Gerald Ponting and Keith Rose . View nders meets most Tuesdays at the Jubilee Hall, New Road, Timsbury and new members, regardless of photographic experience, are always welcome.
