Dragon claw willow, Euonymus, Bergenia leaves, pink Germini and pink Bouvadia made a stunning horizontal design. Next from the fruit bowl were Conference pears. Greenery including Fatsia leaves, laurel and pittosporum to compliment single stem white Carnations and white spider crysanthemum. Teasels mirrored the shape of the pears. Newgate Prison, now the Old Bailey featured next with oranges and lemons (the Nursery Rhyme tells a grim tale). Yellow Calla lillies and orange Espana roses complimented by variagated Hedera and Euonymus were the stars of this design. To Seville they travelled next for oranges, but not to make marmalade!! A vibrant colourful arrangement using Snake grass, trimmed Fan Palms, Aspidestra, yellow spray Carnations and yellow, orange, pink and red Gerbera. All reminiscent of Carmen Miranda’s hat!!
