Starting on 3rd April , The Momentum Project will be held at the Totton & Eling Community Centre on Sunday afternoons from 2pm to 4pm. This 12-week FREE course is specifically for anyone currently unemployed, carers, students, those on a low wage or anyone who have been suffering with low mood or health issues. is initiative is sponsored by Hampshire County Council and is o ered TOTALLY FREE to encourage those keen to meet new people and gain con dence through learning a new skill whilst having fun at the same time. Southern Health Authority they have found a parallel with the skills used for dancing practice and the skills sought-a er in the work place, such as listening abilities, learning new skills, teamwork, following instructions and commitment to task (to name a few). Music at Beaulieu On Saturday 9th April , Music at Beaulieu will welcome a return visit of the Sarum Consort, the professional chamber choir based in Salisbury which is led by Colin Howard. eir programme of sacred music, appropriate for Lent, will include works by Palestrina, Tallis, Purcell, John Tavener and Arvo Pärt. Music at Beaulieu concerts are held at Beaulieu Abbey Church and start at 7pm. ey continue to take the cautious approach to the risks of COVID- 19, so for the time being the doors will open at 6.45pm; concerts will last approximately one hour without an interval and they ask that masks are worn (unless medical exemption can be shown) and social distancing is observed.
