Business Volunteers Encouraged to Help Solent Schools Develop Pupils’ Work Skills The Solent Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) is encouraging business professionals to volunteer as Enterprise Advisers, which help local schools and colleges link with businesses and inspire young people to develop the skills employers need. Working in partnership with e Careers & Enterprise Company, which manages the national network, the Solent LEP is recruiting Enterprise Advisers to work at a strategic level with the educational institutions’ senior management teams. e voluntary role will focus on evaluating the existing careers and enterprisework takingplace at individual sites, and on developing activity plans to ensure that the best local provision can be accessed to prepare their students for future careers.
