Le Salon Musical presents an immersive show of music and theatre recreating a Salon of the 1930’s and featuring virtuoso piano, violin and tenor performances plus poetry, including music from Vivaldi to Cole Porter and poetry of Era Pound, James Joyce and Dante Alighieri. Monday 13th June - Indira Grier (cello) and Daniel Lebhardt (piano), both international performers and prize winners, playing works by Beethoven and Brahms. Monday 11th July - Mithras Trio , formed in 2017 at the Guildhall School, currently in the prestigious BBC New Generation Artists scheme and regular Radio 3 broadcasters, playing works by McDowall, Beethoven and Tchaikovsky. Monday 8th August - James Gilbert (clarinet) with piano accompanist, Royal Academy of Music scholar, solo and chamber recitalist for Leeds International Concert Season and at the BBC Proms, playing works by Clara Schumann, Stanford, Brahms, Bridge, Ireland and Elgar. Cellist, Indira Grier Pianist, Daniel Lebhardt Monday 12th September - Antonina Suhanova (piano), international performer and Guildhall School graduate originally from Latvia, playing works by Mozart, Brahms, Berg and Proko ev. Being a liated members of their club, they assisted in greeting the public at the door with exemplary manners and behaviour. ey were a credit to their parents and the school. e whole weekend was a tremendous success and they look forward to greeting visitors to their 43rd exhibition on the rst weekend in March next year, same place, it is already booked!
