A er each speaker they have tea and biscuits and usually the meeting ends at approximately 3.30pm. New Forest and Waterside have many interest group such as gardening, discussion, history skittles and much more. ey usually organise a luncheon once a month and a holiday once a year. Waterside Musical Society is pleased to be able to resume activities this year a er the di cult last two years. eir aim is to ensure that they ‘Keep theatre alive in e Waterside’ and celebrate live music. e Society is delighted to be back with a lively series of concerts later this year. e Songs at Sell concerts will include well-loved songs from adverts such as ‘My Favourite ings’ for Skoda, ‘Everywhere’ by Fleetwood Mac for 3 Mobile and the iconic ‘I’d Like to Teach the World to Sing’ by e New Seekers for Coca Cola. Rehearsals start on Friday 22nd April at 7.30pm at the Lighthouse Church, Hartley Lane, Hardley SO45 3NZ. e society are looking forward to welcoming old members back and also hope to meet new members. e concerts will take place at St. Andrews Church, Dibden Purlieu on Friday 15th July at 7.30pm and at Trinity Church, Totton on Saturday 23rd July at 7.30pm. Words, Walks and Wellbeing Hythe Wives will be meeting on Friday 6th May , for a talk by Alistair McNaught titled ‘Words, Walks and Wellbeing’ and on Friday 20th May for a talk by Martin Perry titled ‘Gardening’.
