Cook the bacon in a frying pan. Meanwhile, scramble the eggs using your favourite technique. 2. Layer the ingredients in each wrap – it’s easiest to lay the watercress down rst, then the bacon, then the eggs and avocado – and fold the wrap so all ends are closed. 3. In a dry frying pan, heat the closed wraps on all sides to seal, this should only take a couple of minutes but be careful not to burn the wraps. is recipe can be easily adapted to suit your preference or dietary requirements. During COVID-19 During COVID-19 Ann and Helen remained in post in the Community Centre o ce, when permitted, supporting members of the Community Association by contacting them by email or letter and spending many hours chatting to them on the phone. Members of the Community Association joined the Totton Time Bank and Totton Isolation Group delivering food, medication, clothing, and many other essential items. is led to the creation of their ‘Totton Baby Bundles’ project. ey took advantage of the fact that building work was permitted for most of the COVID-19 lockdown periods and completed the building of the Totton Men’s Shed. With the several grants provided by HCC and NFDC the Association came out of covid t and strong. Post COVID-19 e Association’s ‘Totton Baby Bundles’ is now helping an increasing number of young parents with babies and children under 5 by providing clothes, nappies and toiletries as well as running so -play sessions. e Association runs many events such as ‘Seated Exercise’ classes and ‘Singing A ernoons’ which are growing rapidly in popularity as people gain con dence to go out again a er COVID-19. A major project of the Association is the Totton Men’s Shed. is is open to anyone over 18 and is o ering a wide variety of sessions and projects including restoration of a large dolls house, a large ‘00’ gauge railway layout, guitar lessons, woodcarving and several ‘Tea & Chat’ drop-ins. e Totton Ukulele Group is also open to anyone and is run from the Totton Men’s Shed. ere are plans for many more events including special events for the Queen’s Jubilee in June. Examples are the signi cant contribution it has made over more than 25 years to the eradication of polio, a scholarship scheme for graduate training, and assistance to sustainable farming projects.
