Enjoy a spectacular day or half day out on the water guided by an experienced commercial skipper who will ensure that you and your guests have a relaxing, fun and safe experience. Solent Boat Experiences will help you plan the route for up to ve guests whether you fancy to visit a bay for a picnic or dine at a restaurant, they can take you over to the Isle of Wight or a for a cruise up the Beaulieu or Hamble River. If you are feeling brave you can take the helm and learn the ropes as you motor in the waterways around the Solent with guidance from your knowledgeable skipper. Although the powerboat has the capability this is not an adrenalin ride. e experiences start at £320 for a midweek half day which includes hire of the power boat and fuel, safety equipment including lifejackets (to be worn at all times), commercial skipper, who will brief you on aspects of the day including safety, dry storage for your belongings, so drinks in a cooler, guidance and help on booking a restaurant or arranging a picnic or a ernoon tea. As well as providing powerboat experiences, AMT facilitate Royal Yachting Association training, collaborating with Mendez Marine to o er both practical courses and classroomor online theory courses A local singing group called the Jingle Ladies, decided to put their love of music to good use by holding a fundraising event on Saturday 2nd April on behalf of the Disaster Emergency Committee for the Ukraine Humanitarian Appeal. ey sang for JINGLE LADIES RAISE OVER £500 FOR UKRAINE Age Concern New Forest’s CEO Teresa Blakey was presented with a cheque for £333 on 13th April, by Jo Hobbs, Community Matters Lead, Waitrose. Teresa said “This grant will be used for two Jubilee Celebration Lunches for our Sunday Lunch Clubs in June, 2022 and we are thankful for this wonderful support from Waitrose”. Wellbeing Grant fromWaitrose a couple of hours and raised a total of £502.11 which will go directly to support the people of Ukraine in their hour of need. e group would like to express their thanks to everyone who kindly made a donation and to Tesco’s at Applemore and Harveys in Hythe for their support on the day.
