Sixty-eight images were entered, giving the judge, Mark Lanigan, a busy evening. e Natural Light theme was for printed images and Keith Rose’s entry ‘Chapel, Basilica San Giorgio Maggiore’ was chosen as the winner. e judge said it was a really interesting image with beautiful natural lighting. Second place was awarded to Harry Borgerson for his image ‘The Blacksmith’s Wife’ and third place went to ‘A Large White’ by Stephen Cooper . Another image by Stephen won a Seal of Merit and an image by Roy Lambeth was also awarded a Seal. In the projected digital image category on the Colourful theme, Gerald Ponting was awarded the trophy for his image ‘On a Greek Monastery Floor’ , an image of the light from a stained-glass window. e judge said he liked this interpretation of the theme. Lynn Lambeth was awarded both second and third Left to right: Mark Lanigan (judge) and Keith Rose (winner in the Natural Light category) places for her images ‘Colourful Reflection’ and ‘Colour Wheel’ . Seals of Merit were awarded to Lizzie Dutfield , Terry Jamieson , Jackie Ridout and Christine Wenman .
