On 26th April the DOGS played an 18 Hole ree Ball Texas Scramble with 42 Golfers enjoying the sunshine. e winning teams: 1st: B Barnard, P James & DThorpe (63.9 C/B) 2nd: C Walters, S Hawkes & J Barnes (63.9 C/B) 3rd: M Eve, R James & K Barge (64.2) 4th: P Mortimer, C Ellis & A Richards (64.5) Nearest the pin winners: 2nd Hole J Manning , 4th Hole D Thorpe and 11th Hole J Poore. Star of the week went to DThorpe - Scramble winning team and Nearest the Pin Winner 4th Hole. Meetings are held at the Eastleigh Railway Institute, Romsey Road Eastleigh SO50 9FE and commence at 7.30pm. e room, on the rst oor (sorry no disabled access), is usually open from 7pm. A bar is available for refreshments. eir next meeting is an Observation Evening on Wednesday 15th June from 4.30pm, at Eastleigh Station. Go along and view the rail activity. A donation of £3 is usual to help with the costs of the speaker and room hire. Non-members are very welcome at their meetings. Followed on Wednesday 20th July with for a talk by Dy Hide ‘Portraits’. New members are always welcome and visitors are invited to go along for a small entry fee. Meetings are held in the Pine Room at Lyndhurst Community Centre from 7.30pm until 9.30pm. ey will be holding a Paint In at Emery Down Hall on Tuesday 7th June from 11.30am to 4.30pm. eir Summer Exhibition runs from Saturday 6th to Sunday 14th August (Set Up on Friday 5th August).
