Pitches were given by Living for Loss, e Waterside Clothes Swap Shop organised by Natalie Haigh and Lucie Mann and Local Artist Susie Laan (www.eleph-ants.org ) who drives for Moyles Court Animal Rescue Charity, for a chance to win the Dragons pot plus an additional £100 donated by the Hythe and Waterside Rotary. e pitch by Dot Croall for Living A er Loss struck home with a lot of the Dragons and was voted the winner. Living A er Loss is a local bereavement organisation who o er sessions at the Lighthouse C o m m u n i t y Church and the Red and Green Practice Healthy Haven Garden Room. I hadn’t been feeling too good, having had surgery on my neck on Friday but, nevertheless it was wonderful winning this! and hand knitting yarns. e shop is oor to ceiling with glorious fabrics, patterns, books, wadding and one of the largest ranges of haberdashery items for many miles so do pop in and visit Sue before she retires and pick up a few bargains. Sue would like to express her thanks to all the customers who have supported the business over the years. It’s with a heavy heart that New Forest Fabrics owner Sue Pepper has made the decision to close her Dibden Purlieu shop. Sue set up New Forest Fabrics in 2013 and has successfully run the business both in the shop and online ever since. Looking to retire Sue was hoping to sell the business on to keep the local community well stocked with all their fabric and haberdashery needs but unfortunately no serious o ers were made. Sue has now decided to close the shop and will be holding a closing down sale over the coming weeks.
