Now living back in the UK and with Richard working back on a Superyacht, Claire was missing her perfect little job and decided to set up her own wool shop. Knowing that Hythe had recently lost the infamous Shirley Wools from the High Street Claire decided that it would be the perfect location for her to open her shop – Fully Woolly. Claire herself only recently found her love of knitting a er her Mum taught her just 8 years ago and hasn’t stopped since! She comments: “I love the process of knitting, watching the garment build and grow and I love the satisfaction of a finished piece and the pride that comes with wearing it.” Claire is passionate about using beautiful natural bres and stunning shades and hopes that Fully Woolly will be a modern take on the old wool shop creating a place for all knitters new and experienced, young and not so old. e shop will stock yarns from well-known brands such as Rowan and West Yorkshire Spinners. But will also introduce yarns from Italy and New Zealand, such as Sesia, an Italian brand known for their cruelty- free, machine-washable merino and organic cottons.
