Donations can be taken along to the stall on the day of the sales or alternatively you can call 0344 963 2463 to arrange for a collection to be made. Lions are both men and women, and there are no age restrictions to membership other than you must be over 18. ey are approachable people from many walks of life, and they enjoy an active social life. A few hours a month are all it takes to help others less fortunate in the community. And they do year a er year. Duck Race is back in Romsey! e Rotary Club in Romsey is very excited to bring back Romsey Mayors Picnic and their hugely popular Duck Race! Taking place on Sunday 3rd July at Romsey Memorial Park from 12noon to 5pm, you can purchase your duck for £1 on the day or in advance from one of the pop up stalls in the Market Square in the weeks leading up to the race. e event promises to be a great family day out, there will be lots of charity stalls, and the opportunity for shopping, food and entertainment throughout the a ernoon. A er each speaker they have tea and biscuits and usually the meeting ends at approximately 3.30pm. New Forest and Waterside U3A have many interest groups such as gardening, discussion, history, skittles and much more. ey usually organise a luncheon once a month and a holiday once a year.
