Lovingly knitted by 4 residents at the home along with Lifestyle Coordinator Debbie, the Bobby Buddy’s will be given to children that meet the Police in distressing situations or Carpathia Grange opened in 2019 shortly before the pandemic. e Care Home are happy to announce that their doors are now fully open again, meaning families can visit the residents whenever they like. Carpathia’s Activities Manager Lorraine saw a post on Facebook calling for knitters to help make the Bobby Buddy’s, knowing there were several knitting enthusiasts at the care home she printed o the patterns and explained the scheme to the residents who were keen to get involved and have now knitted a tremendous 30 Bobby Buddy’s. When given out to the children, they will be told the name of the knitter who spent the time and care making their Bobby Buddy just for them. Two community Police O cers popped in to visit the residents to collect the bears and thank them for their donations.
