On Wednesday 12th October, there will be an open rehearsal for any potential new singers to join Beaulieu Abbey Parish Choir. e rehearsal will be from 7.30pm to 8.45pm at Beaulieu Abbey Parish Hall (next to the Abbey Church) and is open to anyone who enjoys singing and who might want to be part of the Parish Church Choir. WALK THE WALK together. e Hythe & Waterside Annual Charity Walk, held in July, has raised £2,000 for local charities and good causes. e countryside walk, which is supported by Lord Montagu and the Countryside Education Trust provides a golden opportunity for groups and individuals to enjoy parts of the Beaulieu Estate not normally open to the public whilst raising funds for whoever they chose. is year, many walkers donated their sponsorship money to the Rotary Ukraine appeal but some had personal reasons for who they walked for, such as a family who raised £220 for the Cystic Fibrosis Trust in memory of a close friend. Although a rm date for 2023 has not yet been set, plans are for a Sunday in July when once again you will be invited to join the fun. Full details soon! Murder Mystery Event to Raise Money for Minstead Trust Minstead Trust invites you to Elmers Court Hotel in Lymington for their next murder mystery event on Friday 11th November. e Legend of Bloodstone, a 1940’s themed murder mystery is set to unfold at Elmers Court hotel, a new venue for the Trust, for what is expected to be a very popular and fun fundraising event. Tickets are just £45 per person, and include a sumptuous two course meal, petit fours and tea or co ee. Dress up in 1940s out ts if you wish, this is entirely optional, book with friends and family for a fun night of playing detective, whilst actors play out the scenes as you enjoy your dinner, and you guess clues and interrogate the characters to solve the mystery.
